Your knowledge and experience is the most important piece of equipment you can ever take with you onto the water.  In order to make the most of your kayaking experience we suggest taking advantage of our paddling class offerings.

The essence of a kayaking stroke is ease and efficiency.  By learning to "paddle smarter not harder" you will maximize your energy and increase your comfort and confidence while reducing fatigue and the chance of injury.

For the first time kayaker or for seasoned paddlers with no training. Two hours of group instruction covers basic paddling strokes and kayak handling skills. Our ACA certified instructors discuss essential safety equipment and proper paddle selection. A varied selection of kayak designs is available to students. Private instruction also available upon request.

Saturday mornings 8:30 A.M at Turtle Beach on Siesta Key.

Private Instruction

One on one attention to develop and sharpen intermediate and advanced kayaking skills Re-entries, rescues, Eskimo rolling, surfing and kayak outfitting are skills that can be learned.

Cost: $65.00 per hour per person. By appointment. Equipment not included.

Hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, bathing suit and plenty of water are recommended!
